Features

CALtrack Traceable Calibration Management System schedules instrument tests, stores instrument test results and produces test certificates that can be used for quality assurance.

Features at a glance:

Simple to use
CALtrack's Navigator guide shows users what they need to do to carry out simple tasks.

PDA Input
No more duplication of recording test results on paper work sheets out in the field and then having to later enter the results into the computer, thanks to Pocket CALtrack, CALtrack's application for the PDA.

Pocket CALtrack for Pocket PC, allows users to enter test data into their PDA and then upload the data directly into CALtrack, making for a complete paperless system. Symbol PDAs can take advantage of Pocket CALtrack's barcode scanning feature for easy selection of instruments.

Paperless Record System
All instrument test certificates can be stored electronically. CALtrack's electronic signature feature means that test certificates can be certified and accepted without having to print them out.

Worksheets and Certificates
CALtrack can print worksheets for recording test results and can also print certificates of instrument test results. Worksheets and certificates are customisable, to display your own logos, footers and compliance lines. Instrument Indexes can be printed to help organise certificates.

Batch Printing
CALtrack's batch printing facility makes it easy to print a large number of certificates or worksheets at once.

Easy Scheduling
CALtrack statistics provides an easy way to view which instruments and how many are due when.

CALtrack can generate a Scheduler report which lists all the instruments due to be tested within a specified time period. Instruments that get tested together can be grouped as a test set. Test sets can be used over and over, saving time on planning which instruments will be tested together.

Easy to Find Instruments
CALtrack's unique tree structures allow you to view instruments by where they are located or by how they are connected to one another.

Traceability
CALtrack keeps an audit trail of what actions are carried out, by whom and when.

Analysis Tools
Reports generated by CALtrack can be used for trending and fault prediction. Calibration history reports can aid in assessing instrument performance and selection.

Calibrator Management
As well as keeping track of instruments under test, CALtrack also schedules when your calibrators require testing. It stores data about calibrator tests and whether the calibrators are valid or not. Statistics group calibrators by when they next require testing and also if they have been found failed and left failed during their most recent test. CALtrack can link to electronic versions of third party calibrator test certificates.

Reusable Data Catalogue
Enter in the details of a model of an instrument only once. CALtrack stores a catalogue of instruments, so rather than re-entering the details of an instrument model each time an instrument of its type is added, the data can be read in from the catalogue.

Documents
Manage the documents that get used for testing instruments in one central location. CALtrack keeps track of which revisions of documents are current and can link to electronic versions of documents.

Share Data between Service Providers and Clients
Import data of service provider's calibrators and testers from the service provider's CALtrack database. Service providers maintain their calibrator and test data in one central location and export it to each of their clients, saving duplication of re-entering data.

Safe and Secure User Permissions
The CALtrack Administrator has complete control over what data a user can view, enter, edit and delete. Users' permissions are set on a site by site and company basis.

Application Lock
CALtrack prevents undesired access from anyone who may stumble across an unattended computer, by locking CALtrack after it has been idle for a specified time period. CALtrack will unlock when the logged on user re-enters their password.

Loops
As an optional add-in CALtrack has a special Loop tree view. The Loop view display's chains of connected instruments that get tested all together by placing an input on the first instrument and reading the output of the last instrument. Loops can have worksheets and certificates printed for them and test results entered against them. Loops can have their own test schedule, separate to that of the instruments they consists of.

Automatically Calculate Test Points
CALtrack can automatically calculate linear and square root test points for you, or you can define your own.

Search Facilities
Find instruments in CALtrack by searching for instruments based on partial/complete tag numbers.

Archive
Never accidentally delete historical data. When instrument data is deleted in CALtrack it is moved to an archive, where it can be restored if need be.
